The store is located in Ferrymead, Christchurch, close to the seaside suburbs, and the hub of a dynamic and growing retail area.
The store is dedicated to giving you furniture and accessories with clean lines, simplicity of design and more personal choices. Simple forms are more attractive and practical, and fit with today’s expressions of individuality in contemporary homes.
Coast is the name of our own house brand of furniture. Carefully selected by Jenny and John from the best available world wide, Coast leather sofas are chosen to fit in with our philosophy of superb design at affordable prices, without compromising comfort or quality. The designs are from Italy, Denmark, and the Netherlands, chosen by Jenny and John for their suitability for New Zealand homes. Casual and Country is the only South Island stockist of the complete range of Designers Guild products which includes fabrics and wallpapers for children and adults, from the English design house of Tricia Guild. Designers Guild textiles have colour, vibrancy and a unique quirkiness. There are currently over 50 collections in its portfolio, as well as a wide variety of home and lifestyle products; bedlinen as well as collections of blankets and throws, stationery, leather wallets and accessories, and the Fragrant Home collection of scented candles, room sprays and bath & body products.
Casual and Country’s services include interior design. Our fully qualified staff are passionate about their work, and knowledgeable about the products available. In-store or in-home consultations are available for curtains, blinds, furniture, and accessories.
